Ember Urban Eatery

Ember is a quaint sixty seat restaurant serving a variety of menu items. It is American fare, plated nicely and well-priced. Most of all, it is a place where you feel at home. Located on the Cultural Trail in the ground level retail space at the Villaggio on the corner of Virginia and East Streets. There is parking in the front lot, on the street and in the back parking garage. The back door is open for all friends.

Appetizers (choose 1)

Baked Goat Cheese – A personal version of this house specialty. Sliced goat cheese baked over spicy Arrabbiata sauce topped with fresh basil chiffonade. Served with toasted crostini.

Potato Croquettes – Yukon gold mashed potatoes, rolled in a light Panko breading and deep fried to golden brown. Served with our signature White BBQ sauce or house made Ranch.

Side Salad – Romaine, Iceberg and Spring mix blend, topped with cucumbers, celery, grape tomatoes and shredded carrots. Served with your choice of our house made dressings.

Creamy Smoked Brisket & Portobello Soup – A customer favorite. Tender chucks of our house smoked brisket, Portobello mushrooms in a fresh cream based soup

Main Course (choose 1)

Amaretto Roughy – 8oz Roughy fillet, lightly floured and pan fried golden brown; glazed with Amaretto and topped with toasted almonds. Served with white rice pilaf and vegetable medley.

Cajun Brisket Fettuccine – Tender chunks of our house smoked Brisket along with mixed peppers and red onion in a Cajun Alfredo sauce; all tossed with Fettuccine noodles. Served with French Batard bread.

Creamy Chicken Pesto – Baked chicken, diced, tossed with Portobello mushrooms, roasted grape tomatoes and Penne Pasta in our house made creamy Basil Pesto sauce. Served with French Batard bread.

Brisket Dinner – Our house special, 8oz smoked Brisket with light Aujus, served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and a Broccoli & Carrot Medley.

Roasted Vegetable Ragu – A twist to a House Favorite. Eggplant, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Portabella mushroom and red peppers in a light Ragu. Served over seasoned Quinoa and topped with sautéed pinach and crispy shallot. (You won’t believe it but this dish is Vegan).

Dessert (choose 1)

Mini Pecan Ball – A smaller version of our house dessert. Vanilla ice cream rolled in toasted candied pecans, drizzled with caramel sauce. Served with whipped cream.

Homemade Bread Pudding – Made with a touch of cinnamon and drizzled with caramel sauce. Served warm with whipped cream.

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate – Chocolate ice cream with a Chocolate Ghirardelli brownie wedge, whipped cream, and Chocolate sauce.
